Laura Way, B.S.Ed, MSW

Laura Way is an Administrative Assistant at PARTNERS for Equity in Child and Adolescent Health at Emory University. In her role, she supports the growth and expansion of school-based health care by providing vital administrative and programmatic assistance to both internal staff and external school-based health partners.

Originally from the U.S. Virgin Islands, Laura relocated to New York at the age of 15. She later earned her Bachelor’s degree in Special Education (K–12) from the University of Georgia in 2018, followed by a Master’s degree in Social Work from the same institution.

Laura’s professional journey includes roles in Admissions and Recruitment at Georgia State University and as an Administrative Assistant with the Child Health and Mortality Prevention Surveillance (CHAMPS) program at Emory University, which she joined in 2017. She became part of PARTNERS for Equity in Child and Adolescent Health in 2021, where she continues to be a valued contributor to initiatives that promote health equity for children and adolescents.
